Arya.ag partners Bioseed to collaborate in area of seed research using satellite, AI-powered tech

Artificial intelligence

Arya.ag, a platform for trading grains, has joined forces with Bioseed to work together on seed research. They will utilize innovative technologies like advanced satellite surveillance and artificial intelligence to enhance their efforts. Arya.ag will make use of their satellite surveillance product, Prakshep, and their AI-powered solution called 'VaMa'. These tools will help them keep a close eye on farms that have subscribed to Bioseed and provide valuable insights on seed performance in different agroclimatic regions. Additionally, they will use the collected data to create a reliable and high-quality package of practices.

"This collaboration highlights our unwavering dedication to utilizing satellite technology to enhance climate resilience. Bioseed excels in the field of biotechnology, and we are delighted to join forces with them in providing data-based analysis through agricultural surveillance. Our shared goal is to empower farmers with the knowledge to make well-informed choices and strengthen their resilience to unpredictable climate conditions," stated Anand Chandra, Executive Director and co-founder of Arya.ag.

Arya.ag utilizes a range of information sources such as satellite images, weather data, market patterns, and on-site pictures to track numerous trial plots and assess the progress of crops as well as detect any issues caused by living organisms or environmental factors. Through this collaboration, Arya.ag will establish connections between farm and village analysis to offer users comprehensive understandings of how farms are performing. This includes providing vegetation maps, moisture maps, maps displaying the impact of living organisms and environmental factors, maps indicating nutrient stress, as well as surveys designed for targeted surveillance to enable early intervention, effective irrigation management, and identification of suitable locations for soil sampling.

"Sreekanth Chundi, Executive Director & Business Head of Shriram Bioseed Genetics, expressed admiration for Arya.ag's AI-powered platform and their extensive knowledge in agriculture. He emphasized the potential of their technology in revolutionizing farming in India by providing farmers with valuable information. Traditionally, manual monitoring has been both costly and time-consuming, and human bias has introduced further challenges. However, the integration of Arya.ag's technology with our expertise has impressed us greatly."

The purpose of this partnership is to create a stir in the agricultural environment by using Arya's web and mobile application for remote farm scouting, anomaly detection, and strong growth monitoring. The statement mentioned that Arya.ag's commitment to data privacy guarantees the security and confidentiality of Bioseed's valuable farm data.
