Geely set to begin export of Zeekr EVs in mid-August

Zeekr, a Chinese electric vehicle brand, will start exporting its 001 hatchbacks to Europe in mid-August. The subsidiary of Geely is excited to see these vehicles on the roads of Sweden and the Netherlands by October. On Wednesday, an undisclosed quantity of the vehicles were produced in Zeekr's Ningbo facility, with prices starting from €59,490 ($65,155) and 667,000 SEK ($62,542) in the Netherlands and Sweden respectively. The company began accepting pre-orders for the vehicle in these two countries on June 28. Additionally, Zeekr plans to expand its market to other prominent European countries including Norway, Denmark, Germany, and France next year. In the first seven months of 2023, Zeekr successfully sold a total of 54,672 units of its 001 car, 009 multi-purpose vehicle, and X compact crossover.
