Mark Zuckerberg has dismissed speculations that the rumored boxing match between him and Elon Musk is nearing completion.

The owner of Meta expressed on his social networking site, Threads, that he did not reach any agreements regarding the proposed plans by Mr. Musk. He further stated that he was not very optimistic about it.

Mr. Musk, the proprietor of the social media platform X (previously known as Twitter), seemed to imply earlier that the battle would take place in a breathtaking venue situated in Italy.

He described potential choices for live broadcasting and a historic location for the planned occasion, stating that he had conversed with Italy's Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni.

The opposing technology leaders appeared to have agreed to engage in a physical confrontation in June when Mr. Musk posted on Twitter that he was willing to participate in a fight in a confined area with Mr. Zuckerberg, who responded by requesting the specific place and time.

Mark Zuckerberg denies Elon Musk's alleged declaration of an epic showdown at the Colosseum.

Musk mentioned that the Italian Prime Minister and Minister of Culture have concurred on a splendid setting.

In a recent post on Threads, Zuckerberg encouraged readers to consider that anything Elon says may not have been mutually agreed upon. The two extremely wealthy individuals are currently working to iron out the specific intricacies related to their dispute.

On Friday, Mr. Musk announced on X that the competition will be overseen by our charitable organizations, along with Zuck's. It won't be held under the UFC organization. The live broadcast will be available on this website and Meta.

The camera will capture solely ancient Rome, excluding anything contemporary in the frame.

I had a conversation with the Prime Minister of Italy and the Minister of Culture. They have both reached a consensus on a remarkable venue.

According to Mr. Musk, the gathering will serve to 'honor the history and current state of Italy', with all funds generated being dedicated to supporting veterans.

In reaction to the allegations, Mr. Zuckerberg expressed on Threads: 'I have a great fondness for this activity and I have been prepared to engage in a battle ever since the moment Elon confronted me.

If he ever settles on a definite date, I will inform you. However, until then, please consider any statements he makes as lacking agreement.

I'm not expecting Elon to come through, but I'll disclose information about my upcoming battle when I feel prepared.

When I participate in competitions, my intention is to bring attention to the exceptional athletes who are at the pinnacle of their respective sports.

When we closely compare the two, Musk clearly has a physical superiority, although he is 11 years senior to Zuckerberg.

Musk has been undergoing intense workouts with UFC icon Georges St Pierre (wearing red shorts) in the past few weeks.

Zuckerberg has been undergoing practice sessions alongside UFC champions Israel Adesanya (on the left) and Alexander Volkanovski (on the right).

You achieve this by collaborating with established organizations such as the UFC or ONE to successfully execute the plan and curate an outstanding lineup.

The relationship between the two wealthy individuals' technology firms has been strained following Meta's introduction of Threads, a messaging application focused on written conversations, in the month of July.

After the release, Meta received a cease-and-desist letter from Twitter, alleging that they had wrongfully taken and utilized Twitter's confidential information and other valuable intellectual assets.

The ex-prime minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, shared his thoughts on the possible fight, stating his support for Mr. Musk and predicting that it would be even more significant than the legendary clash between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman known as the "Rumble in the Jungle" from 1974.

In his column for the Daily Mail, the author mentioned a historical Greek competition. He further stated, "Just to add, if the Musk-Zuckerberg fight actually happens, I dare the champion to take part in a Cumberland wrestling pankration against me. Additionally, I suggest that as a reward, the winner should receive half of the other person's yearly earnings."
