The Coca-Cola Company in Hong Kong and City Plaza are working together to encourage recycling habits. They want to show people that recycled PET bottles can have multiple lives. To celebrate World Environment Day on June 5, they will open Hong Kong's first 'Recycle Bar'.

Two women, Ms. Marella Canepa Risso and Ms. Aileen Chan, reveal the Coca-Cola "Recycle Bar". Ms. Canepa Risso is the Franchise Operations Director for Hong Kong and Macau at The Coca-Cola Company. Ms. Chan is the General Manager at Cityplaza.

The "Recycle Bar" is starting on June 2 and ending on June 11. They used 18,000 plastic bottles to make more than 30 pieces of bar furniture using 3D printing. The "Recycle Bar" wants to teach people to recycle and reduce their carbon footprint. People who visit can give in their used plastic bottles to get free drinks and souvenirs made out of recycled PET bottles.

Coca-Cola has set up a "Recycle Bar" to promote recycling habits. At the event, you can trade in recycled PET1 bottles for beverages or get Coca-Cola souvenirs made from recycled bottles. It's a great way to encourage people to recycle.

rPET is being given a second chance at life in many different forms, including furniture and everyday items. These products are made using recycled plastic that has been given a new lease on life. By using rPET, we can help reduce the amount of plastic waste that ends up in landfills or polluting our oceans. With so many ways to use rPET, there's no excuse not to give it a try!

PET can be recycled and reused many times. Coca-Cola in Hong Kong used 18,000 recycled PET bottles to make furniture for public exhibition. Furniture includes bar counter, bar stools, tables and chairs. Furniture is locally made. After the exhibition, furniture will be reused at a 'Recycling Academy' experience center. This is part of Coca-Cola's public education efforts.

rPET can become more than furniture. Accessories for daily life can be made with rPET. The "Recycle Bar" exhibits rPET accessories from the U.S., Chinese mainland, and Hong Kong. Showing what can happen if people start recycling together.

PET recycling is the process of creating new products from used plastic bottles. This process begins with collecting the used bottles. The bottles are then transported to a recycling facility. The bottles are cleaned and sorted by color. After that, the bottles are crushed into small pieces. The small pieces of plastic are then washed again and melted down. The melted plastic is then formed into pellets. These pellets can be used to create new products like clothing, carpeting, and more bottles. This recycling process helps reduce waste and conserves resources.

The "Recycle Bar" is an educational exhibit for recycling. It shows how PET bottles are recycled in a recycling facility. The exhibit teaches people how a used bottle can become a new drink container. You can shred a bottle at the "Recycle Bar" to see how it works. The exhibit also teaches about proper recycling of beverage packaging.

We want everyone to care about the environment. We show people how to recycle PET bottles through public events like the Recycle Bar. We encourage people in Hong Kong to recycle properly and to change their habits. Marella Canepa Risso from The Coca-Cola Company said this helps us build a World Without Waste.

Marella said that Bonaqua® is committed to sustainable solutions and inspiring people to live sustainable lives. Their locally produced Bonaqua® Mineralized Water (2L or below) uses 100% rPET for production. The bottle is also lighter than conventional PET bottles. They also launched label-less bottles in Hong Kong and Taiwan to reduce plastic use and increase recyclability.

Swire Properties values sustainable development. Their SD2030 Strategy focuses on resource management and circularity. They have materials recycling facilities in their developments. They support Coca-Cola in launching the Recycle Bar to promote recycling culture in Hong Kong. It's important to enhance public education and build user-friendly facilities for a city-wide recycling culture. Aileen Chan, General Manager from Cityplaza, made these statements.

Recycling gives free drinks and souvenirs made of rPET.

"Recycle Bar" wants people to bring back plastic bottles so they can make a lot of things. People get points for bringing back the bottles and can get drinks made with recycled plastic bottles. The drinks include Bonaqua® Mineralized Water, which only uses recycled plastic. There are also other things like jackets, polo shirts, and pencil cases made from recycled plastic that people can get. The goal is to make recycling a habit.

There are Weekend DIY planting workshops on rPET. rPET is plastic made from recycled materials. You can learn how to make plant pots from rPET. These workshops are very interactive. You can enjoy planting with others. It's a good opportunity to learn something new. It's also good for the environment. You can reuse old plastic and prevent waste.

People can join free DIY planting workshops with rPET on weekends. They'll get a special rPET flowerpot made from recycled bottles. At the Recycle Bar, they'll learn how to plant with a succulent and make their flowerpot into art. The tutor will also teach them about rPET and recycling. Reserve a spot at https://1ticks.com/event/KCnLkN4c. Seats are limited and given to the first people who sign up.

The Recycle Bar is a place where people can recycle. It is located in the city. There are different items that people can recycle at the bar. These include plastic, glass, and paper. People can also bring in old electronics and batteries for recycling. The Recycle Bar gives people an easy way to reduce waste and help the environment.
