Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, found a new boss. Linda Yaccarino, an advertising executive, is his replacement.

Less than a month after being on a panel with a tech billionaire, the new CEO was named. She was interviewed by the billionaire during the panel called "Twitter 2.0: From Conversations to Partnerships". She currently works for NBCUniversal.

She talked about her opinions on the tech billionaire and what she wants for the future of Twitter. There were big worries she had about him taking over the company during the event.

Mr. Musk described his time as head of Twitter as "entertaining." He also said that train wrecks can also be entertaining.

Ms Yaccarino said that sometimes train wrecks happen, but it's important to be dedicated to fixing them.

They noticed that he shifted from using a product he adores to being the owner of it. She mentioned that it might be a situation of "watch what you wish for."

She disagreed with some of his tweets and thinks that as the most-followed account on Twitter, he should be held to a higher standard.

She said he's too provocative, and he needs to stop tweeting late at night.

She asked if he could be more specific and avoid tweeting after 3am. People in the room would appreciate it and feel more confident.

Mr. Musk thinks Twitter will help him make an "everything app" called X. People could do business on it. Advertisers could sell things directly to users. This would be good for advertisers.

Ms Yaccarino likes the idea of Mr Musk's vision. She tweeted about another goal too. She wants to bring back Periscope for "Twitter 2.0".

She told Mr. Musk to bring back Twitter's Influence Council. This Council allowed industry professionals to give feedback on the platform's appearance.

She said to Mr. Musk, "The people here can help you become profitable faster, but some are sceptical. Some cannot differentiate between your opinions, you as a person, and the microphone you have now."

Ms Yaccarino might be in charge of the microphone now. Advertisers can then distance themselves from the controversial billionaire. They left the platform earlier.

The Independent asked NBCUniversal for comment. Twitter replied with a poop emoji.
