Prior to the official arrival of the brand in our local market next week, the Tesla Supercharger sites in Malaysia have been unveiled on their website. This announcement comes after the disclosure of the prices for the Model Y in Malaysia, starting from RM199,000.

As stated in the "Locate Us" section of the website, the initial installment of Tesla Supercharger stations in Malaysia will be set up in ten different areas. Let's take a look at these locations:

In relation to the undisclosed area in Negeri Sembilan, it is likely that the Supercharger will be situated along the North-South Expressway (PLUS) according to the marked location on the map. The Battery Electric Vehicle Global Leaders program set by the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry mandates Tesla to establish a minimum of 50 Superchargers across Malaysia within a span of three years, as stated by Minister Tengku Zafrul.

Furthermore, these Superchargers need to have a minimum capacity of 180kW. Additionally, Tesla must ensure that a minimum of 30% of these charging stations are compatible with electric vehicles produced by other manufacturers.
