A Tesla Supercharger in its V3/V4 configuration has the capacity to generate a maximum power of 250 kW. In contrast, the earlier models can provide a lesser amount, topping at 150 kW. However, regardless of the charger's hardware capabilities, its performance is ultimately restricted by the incoming power supply, which serves as the ultimate limiting factor.

In the past, it was mentioned that the Chief Minister of Johor, Onn Hafiz Ghazi, had a meeting with Isabel Fan, the Regional Director of Tesla. During the meeting, he showed enthusiasm for the idea of establishing a Tesla Supercharger network in the state. This suggests that we might see additional Tesla Supercharger stations in Johor, apart from just Iskandar Puteri.

Under the MITI BEV Global Leaders initiative, Tesla has been given permission to directly sell their vehicles in Malaysia. However, there is a condition that they must set up a minimum of 50 DC fast chargers. These chargers should have a minimum charging power of 180 kW. Additionally, at least 30% (15 chargers) of the total units must be accessible to the public, enabling electric car owners from different brands to utilize them.
