Dhofar: Ready To Welcome Tourists

Soon, the Khareef season will start in Dhofar, a southern region of the country. Many tourists are going to visit from different parts of the world. This will happen on Wednesday, June 21.

Oman Airports said Salalah Airport will get over 2,500 flights from June 21 to September 21 this year. This is to handle more passengers during this time.

Salalah Airport is getting ready for Khareef Season 2023. Oman Airports is in charge of the preparations. They say 2,679 scheduled flights will go to Salalah Airport from June 21 to September 21 this year.

SalamAir has added new flights. They will connect Salalah and Bahrain. This will happen during the Khareef season. There will be 1,456 domestic flights and 1,223 international flights. SalamAir is a low-cost airline in Oman.

SalamAir's CEO, Captain Mohamed Ahmed, announced a new flight route between Salalah and Bahrain. The route will run during Khareef season. His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik instructed authorities to offer fuel subsidies at Salalah Airport. The subsidies will match fuel prices at Muscat International Airport. SalamAir is proud to provide this new service.

Captain Mohamed Ahmed said that the new non-stop flights from Salalah to Bahrain will help the tourism industry. It will also help Oman achieve its goals for the future.

Dhofar Municipality held a discussion about “Dhofar Khareef Season 2023” with strategic partners. The forum was arranged to strengthen the partnership between public and private sectors.

HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, organized a forum. The private sector institutions and strategic partners were congratulated by him.

At the forum, they talked about Dhofar seasons. They showed pictures too. They talked about making the facilities and events better.
