ASEAN needs digital single market to spur decacorns: Temasek CEO

The top executive of Temasek Holdings, a Singaporean government-owned investment company, has expressed the importance of Southeast Asian nations working together to establish a unified digital market. This collaboration is essential to drive the growth of technology companies in the region.

According to Sandrasegara, the digital economy in Southeast Asia is similar to India's when it comes to the size of the market. He mentioned this on Sunday during the ASEAN Business & Investment Summit, which is currently happening in Jakarta. He also stated that Southeast Asia has great potential thanks to its higher income per person. These discussions are taking place before the gathering of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and its partner countries later this week.
