The way it works is by describing everything about the building using 3D models and organized data. It's all digital and coordinated.

Many design and engineering pros use BIM, but it's not used much in the field. Dodge Construction Network says BIM makes work better, but only some contractors use it. Owners use it even less.

Offices and field teams aren't working together. OpenSpace is investing in better technology to solve this problem. The platform will make BIM easier to understand and use on-site. This will improve communication between office and field teams.
