Many plastic packaging designs won the WorldStar 2023 awards. They have unique features. For example, some blister films are made from biomass. Others have copper embedded in them. Additionally, there is a plastic pump sprayer. It is engineered to be circular.

Every year, the World Packaging Organisation hosts the WorldStar packaging awards. These awards show the latest packaging ideas from all over the world. What's special about the WPO awards is that the winners must first win a national award in their own country.

The WPO goes further with the vetting.

On May 6, there was a celebration for the 2023 WorldStar winners. It happened at the Messe Düsseldorf during the interpack tradeshow. Out of the 228 winners, 140 company representatives attended to receive their trophies. There were 488 entries from 41 different countries, which is a new record.

Soha Atallah, Vice President of Events and WorldStar Coordinator for WPO, said that the numbers confirm that WorldStar is the leading and significant packaging award worldwide. The interpack event was the ideal spot to award these amazing packages.
