Hong Kong Airlines Commences Flights to Fukuoka.
Hong Kong Airlines has initiated nonstop flights linking Hong Kong (HKG) and Fukuoka (FUK), Japan.
The airline is going to provide the service by initiating four flights weekly, utilizing Airbus A320 planes.
When the first Hong Kong Airlines flight landed at Fukuoka Airport, it was honored with a customary salute of water cannons. Officials from the airport, Fukuoka Prefecture, and Kyushu Tourism Organization were also present to greet the passengers, crew, and representatives from Hong Kong Airlines.
Jeff Sun, who is the President of Hong Kong Airlines, expressed great pride in the addition of this newly established route to their recovering network. He believes that Fukuoka has a significant role as a gateway to Kyushu and the initiation of this service will lead to a bright future in terms of their operations in the area.
Hong Kong Airlines now offers flights to Fukuoka, which brings the total number of destinations in Japan to five. This includes two daily flights to Osaka and Tokyo (Narita), daily flights to Okinawa and three flights a week to Sapporo.
In addition, the corporation will commence operating two flights per day to Okinawa starting from May, and three flights per day to Tokyo (Narita) from June.
Later this year, the airline intends to recommence its flights to Kagoshima, which will add more power to its existence in the Kyushu area.
